These samples show how the verbs above are conjugated in the past tense in a sentence which includes all the object pronouns (I, you, she...).
I saw you: Ma nägin sind |
I wrote with a pen: ma kirjutasin pastapliiatsiga |
You loved apples: sa armastasid õunu / te armastasite õunu |
You gave money: sa andsid raha / te andsite raha |
You played tennis: sa mängisid tennist / te mängisite tennist |
He read (past) a book: ta luges raamatut |
He understood me: ta mõistis mind |
She had a cat: Tal oli kass |
She knew my friend: ta tundis mu sõpra |
We wanted to learn: me tahtsime õppida |
We thought Spanish is easy: me arvasime, et hispaania keel on lihtne |
You (plural) worked here: te töötasite siin |
You (plural) spoke French: te rääkisite prantsuse keelt |
They drove a car: nad juhtisid autot |
