Estonian Negation

This is a lesson about negation in Estonian. This includes words or expressions used to form a negative form as opposted to the affirmative. For example "I don't understand".

No: Ei
Nothing: midagi
Not yet: mitte veel
No one: mitte keegi
No longer: enam mitte
Never: mitte kunagi
Cannot: ei saa
Should not: ei tohiks

The below examples demonstrate how to use the negation form in a sentence. Don't be shy to use of these expressions if you don't know something.

We don't understand: me ei saa aru
I do not speak Japanese: Ma ei räägi jaapani keeles
I cannot remember the word: Ma ei mäleta seda sõna
You should not forget this word: Sa ei tohiks seda sõna unustada
No problem!: Pole probleemi! / Ei ole probleemi!
I don't know!: Ma ei tea!
I'm not interested!: Ma pole huvitatud!
Don't worry!: Ära muretse!
This is wrong: See on vale / See ei ole õige
This is not correct: See ei ole õige / täpne / korrektne
No one here speaks Greek: Siin ei räägi keegi kreeka keelt
I'm not fluent in Italian yet: Ma ei oska veel hästi itaalia keelt
