The following are conjunctions used to connect words, sentences, or phrases.

But: Imma
So: Allura, Sabiex

The pen is under the desk: Il-pinna qegħda taħt l-iskrivanija

I was born in Miami: Jien twelidt f'Miami
I speak French but with an accent: Jien nitkellem bil-Franċiż imma b'aċċent
