Brazilian: Braziliaan
American: Amerikaan
French: Fransman

Greek: Griek
Israeli: Israeliet
Indian: Indiër
Irish: Ier
Italian: Italiaan
Japanese: Japanees
Korean: Koreaan
Iranian: Iranees

Now we will put some of the words above into a sentence which you might use in a regular conversation about citizenship. All you need is to swap the nationality but keep the same sentence structure.

I'm Italian: Ik ben Italiaan
My wife is Korean: Mijn vrouw is Koreaanse
My father is Greek: Mijn vader is Griek
I have an American car: Ik heb een Amerikaanse wagen
I love French cheese: Ik hou van Franse kaas
He has a Moroccan rug: Hij heeft een Marokkaanse tapijt
