Turkish Present

This is a list of verbs in the present tense in Turkish. First let's start with the raw format before conjugating the verbs to the present form. Make sure to compare this table and the one below it.

To love: Sevmek
To give: Vermek
To play: Oynamak
To read: Okumak
To understand: Anlamak
To have: Sahip olmak
To know: Bilmek
To learn: Öğrenmek
To think: Düşünmek
To work: Çalışmak
To speak: Konuşmak
To drive: Sürmek
To smile: Gülümsemek
To find: Bulmak

These samples show how the verbs above are conjugated in the present tense in a sentence which includes all the object pronouns (I, you, she...).

I see you: Seni görüyorum
I write with a pen: Kalemle yazarım
You love apples: Elmaları seviyorsun
You give money: Para verirsin
You play tennis: Tenis oynarsın
He reads a book: Kitap okur
He understands me: Beni anlıyor
She has a cat: Kedisi var
She knows my friend: Arkadaşımı tanıyor
We want to learn: Öğrenmek istiyoruz
We think Spanish is easy: İspanyolcanın kolay olduğunu düşünüyoruz
You (plural) work here: Burada çalışıyorsunuz
You (plural) speak French: Fransızca konuşuyorsunuz
They drive a car: Araba sürüyorlar
They smile: Gülümsüyorlar
