Turkish Negation

This is a lesson about negation in Turkish. This includes words or expressions used to form a negative form as opposted to the affirmative. For example "I don't understand".

No: Hayır
Nothing: Hiçbir şey
Not yet: Henüz değil
No one: Hiç kimse
No longer: Artık değil
Never: asla
Cannot: ~emez
Should not: Yapmamalı

The below examples demonstrate how to use the negation form in a sentence. Don't be shy to use of these expressions if you don't know something.

We don't understand: Anlamıyoruz
I do not speak Japanese: Japonca konuşmuyorum
I cannot remember the word: Kelimeyi hatırlayamıyorum
You should not forget this word: Bu kelimeyi unutmamalısın
No problem!: Sorun değil!
I don't know!: Bilmiyorum!
I'm not interested!: İlgilenmiyorum!
Don't worry!: Endişelenme!
This is wrong: Bu yanlış
This is not correct: Bu doğru değil
No one here speaks Greek: Burada kimse Yunanca konuşmuyor
I'm not fluent in Italian yet: Henüz İtalyancam akıcı değil
