Tagalog Adverbs

This is a list of adverbs in Tagalog. This includes adverbs of time, place, manner and frequency. Which sums up most of what you need for daily use.

Now: ngayon
Later: mamaya
Tonight: mamayang gabi
Last night: kagabi
This morning: nitong umaga; ngayong umaga
Yesterday: kahapon
Today: ngayong araw
Tomorrow: bukas
Next week: sa susunod na linggo
Already: na
Recently: kamakailan
Lately: kani-kanina lamang
Soon: mamaya; maya-maya
Immediately: kaagad
Still: pa
Yet: pa

After the above adverbs of time, now we move on to adverbs of place.

Here: dito
There: doon
Everywhere: kahit saan; saan man
Anywhere: kahit saan; maski saan

Now adverbs of manners, used to describe how something happens. They are usually placed after the main verb.

Carefully: nang mabuti
Alone: nag-iisa; mag-isa
Very: napaka
Really: tunay
Quickly: mabilis
Slowly: dahan-dahan
Almost: halos
Together: magkasama

These are adverbs of frequency, which are used to answer the question "how often?".

Always: lagi
Sometimes: kung minsan
Rarely: madalang; bihira
Never: hindi kailanman
