This is a list of verbs in the present tense in Nepali. First let's start with the raw format before conjugating the verbs to the present form. Make sure to compare this table and the one below it.

These samples show how the verbs above are conjugated in the present tense in a sentence which includes all the object pronouns (I, you, she...).

I see you: म ितमीलाई भेत्ने छु।
ma ̔itamīlā'ī bhētnē chu.
 I write with a pen: म कलमले लेख्छु।
Ma kalamalē lēkhchu.
You love apples: उसले स्याऊ मन पराउँछ।
Usalē syā'ū mana parā'um̐cha.
 You give money: तिमी पैसा देऊ।
Timī paisā dē'ū.
You play tennis: ितमी टेिनस् खेल।
̔Itamī ṭēinas khēla.
 He reads a book: ऊ िकताब पर्दछ।
Ū ̔ikatāba pardacha.
He understands me: उसले मलाई बुज्छ।
Usalē malā'ī bujcha.
 She has a cat: उनी सँग िबरालो छ।
Unī sam̐ga ̔ibarālō cha.
She knows my friend: उनीले मेरो साथी िचनेकी िछन्।
Unīlē mērō sāthī ̔icanēkī ̔ichan.
 We want to learn: हामी िसक्न चाहान्छौ।
Hāmī ̔isakna cāhānchau.
We think Spanish is easy: हामीले सोचेको स्पेनको भाषा सजिलो छ भनेर।
Hāmīlē sōcēkō spēnakō bhāṣā sajilō cha bhanēra.
 You (plural) work here: ितनीहरू यँहा काम गर्छ।
̔Itanīharū yam̐hā kāma garcha.
You (plural) speak French: ितनीहरू स्पेन भाषा बोल्छ।
̔Itanīharū spēna bhāṣā bōlcha.
 They drive a car: उनीहरू गाढी चलाउछन
Unīharū gāḍhī calā'uchana
They smile: उनीहरू हास्छन्।
unīharū hāschan.
