Lithuanian Future

This is a list of verbs in the future tense in Lithuanian. First let's start with the raw format before conjugating the verbs to the future form. Make sure to compare this table and the one below it.

To give: duoti
To play: žaisti
To read: skaityti
To understand: suprasti
To have: turėti
To know: žinoti
To learn: mokytis
To think: galvoti
To work: dirbti
To speak: kalbėti
To drive: važiuoti
To smile: šypsotis
To find: rasti

These samples show how the verbs above are conjugated in the future tense in a sentence which includes all the object pronouns (I, you, she...).

I will see you: Aš tave susitiksiu
I will write with a pen: Aš rašysiu parkeliu
You will love apples: Tau patiks obuoliai
You will give money: Tu duosi pinigų
You will play tennis: Tu žaisi tenisą
He will read a book: Jis skaitys knygą
He will understand me: Jis mane supras
She will have a cat: Ji turės katę
She will know you: Ji tave pažinos
We will want to see you: Mes norėsime tave susitikti
We will think about you: Mes apie tave galvosime
You (plural) will work here: Jūs dirbsite čia
You (plural) will speak French: Jūs kalbėsite prancūziškai
They will drive a car: Jie važiuos mašina
They will smile: Jie nusišypsos
