Galician Present

This is a list of verbs in the present tense in Galician. First let's start with the raw format before conjugating the verbs to the present form. Make sure to compare this table and the one below it.

These samples show how the verbs above are conjugated in the present tense in a sentence which includes all the object pronouns (I, you, she...).

I see you: véxote (informal) / véxoo (polite)
I write with a pen: escribo cun bolígrafo
You love apples: a tí encántache as mazás (informal) / a vostede encántanlle as mazás (polite)
You give money: tí das cartos (informal) / vostede dá cartos (polite)
You play tennis: tí xogas ao tenis (informal) / vostede xoga ao tenis (polite)
He reads a book: el lé un libro
He understands me: el enténdeme
She has a cat: el ten un gato (M) / unha gata (F)
She knows my friend: ela coñece ao meu amigo
We want to learn: queremos aprender
We think Spanish is easy: pensamos que o Español é sinxelo
You (plural) work here: vos traballades aquí (informal) / vostedes traballan aquí (polite)
You (plural) speak French: vos falades Francés (informal) / vostedes falan Francés (polite)
They drive a car: conducen un coche
They smile: sorrín
