These samples show how the verbs above are conjugated in the past tense in a sentence which includes all the object pronouns (I, you, she...).
I saw you: Mi vidis vin |
I wrote with a pen: Mi skribis per plumo |
You loved apples: Vi ŝatis pomojn |
You gave money: Vi donis monon |
You played tennis: Vi ludis tenison |
He read (past) a book: Li legis libron |
He understood me: Li komprenis min |
She had a cat: Ŝi havis katon |
She knew my friend: Ŝi konis mian amikon |
We wanted to learn: Ni volis lerni |
We thought Spanish is easy: Ni pensis, ke la hispana lingvo estas facila |
You (plural) worked here: Vi laboris ĉi tie |
You (plural) spoke French: Vi parolis francan lingvon |
They drove a car: Ili stiris aŭtomobilon |
They smiled: Ili ridetis |
