Catalan Adverbs

This is a list of adverbs in Catalan. This includes adverbs of time, place, manner and frequency. Which sums up most of what you need for daily use.

Now: ara
Later: Més tard / Més endavant
Tonight: aquesta nit
Last night: ahir a la nit
This morning: aquest matí
Yesterday: ahir
Today: avui
Tomorrow: demà
Next week: La setmana vinent.
Already: ja
Recently: recentment
Lately: darrerament
Soon: aviat
Immediately: immediatament
Still: encara
Yet: encara

After the above adverbs of time, now we move on to adverbs of place.

Here: aquí
There: allà
Everywhere: a tot arreu
Anywhere: qualsevol lloc

Now adverbs of manners, used to describe how something happens. They are usually placed after the main verb.

Carefully: acuradament
Alone: Sol
Very: molt
Really: realment
Quickly: ràpidament
Slowly: a poc a poc
Almost: gairebé
Together: junts

These are adverbs of frequency, which are used to answer the question "how often?".

Always: sempre
Sometimes: de vegades
Rarely: poques vegades
Never: mai
